Welcome to my blog!

I have been thinking of beginning some kind of Adventuring Journal for the time that I spend in the world of Vana’diel, and I finally put that thought into action with the end result being this blog. I hope to share many things as I journey through Final Fantasy XI, and I hope that if you read and enjoy what I share, you sign up, post some comments, and interact. Maybe we can help each other out!

A little bit about me and my history with FFXI:

I began playing in January of this year, after leaving another MMORPG that I felt did not offer me enough challenge. It was a game heavy on grinding, and though people say that FFXI is a grindfest, I find that it offers so much more than my old game did. Quests with actual storyline, tangible rewards (well…as tangible as you can get on the Internet!), and most of all, a sense of community.

So, I chose FFXI for my next gaming adventure, and have been hooked ever since. Serielley is a Windurstian Tarutaru playing a WHM main job. I’ve also leveled BLM, SMN, COR, and THF. Right now, I’m getting ready to take a break from experience parties, so that I can make a little gil and level my Clothcrafting skill.
